Richard Stallman

Né à Manhattan le 16 mars 1953, Richard Matthew Stallman est un informaticien américain. Il est connu comme l'initiateur du mouvement du logiciel libre.

Il a permis la création du système d'exploitation GNU/Linux (Linux est le noyau de ce système) et de la licence GNU GPL. Il parcours inlassablement la planète pour promouvoir le logiciel libre.
