Style d'architecture logicielle qui consiste à décomposer un ensemble complexe d'applications en plusieurs processus indépendants et faiblement couplés généralement spécialisés dans une seule tâche.
Ces différents microservices sont souvent reliés par des API REST.
Le mot microservices est apparu en 2011.
De nombreuses sociétés utilisent des microservices : Amazon, Google, Netflix, Orange,...
